Cool Jazz 2023: A Fun and Fundraising Event

What a spectacular day we had for our 2023 Cool Jazz! More than 200 supporters of the Farm gathered for cocktails, dinner and dancing at Cove Cabin to celebrate our 25th anniversary as a nonprofit trust.

Through the generous support of our sponsors and attendees, who bid enthusiastically on our auction packages, we raised $60,000 earmarked for our newest project, a terrace adjacent to our historic Barn. In the weeks ahead we’ll share an architect’s rendering of Montaup Terrace, and let you know how you can add to this jumpstart on fundraising for this new area for relaxing and enjoying here at Mount Hope Farm.

Cool Jazz had many highlights including announcement of details of construction of our new animal barn to begin this fall and presentation of our 2023 Golden Pheasant Award to Merritt Meyer.

Plus, Linda Ujifusa, State Senator of Rhode Island, joined us to present the Farm with a Senate and House of Representatives citation congratulating the Farm on our 25th anniversary as a community asset.
