StoryWalk® at Mount Hope Farm
StoryWalk® is the perfect way for families to enjoy the outdoors, take a short walk and read a children’s book … all at the same time. Through the generosity of the Friends of Rogers Free Library and other community supporters, a permanent StoryWalk® installation is now a part of Mount Hope Farm. Our StoryWalk® is located in our North Pasture. You will see it on your left as you drive onto our property.
Each month brings a new book to our StoryWalk® and they are all perfect for children between the ages of three to eight. Plus, the staff of Bristol’s Rogers Free Library is providing links to activities related to each book so young readers can continue the fun once they get home.
Here’s a list of books that will be featured during 2024:
January: Tea Party in the Woods (Akiko Miyakoshi, author)
February: If You Want to See a Whale (Julie Fogliano, author)
March: Gnome (Fred Blunt, author)
April: The First Blade of Sweetgrass (Suzanne Greenlaw, author)
May: Tidy (Emily Gravett, author)
