Stay with Us

The Inn at Mount Hope Farm is a special part of Mount Hope Farm, one of Rhode Island’s great country estates. Not only is the Farm on the National Register of Historic Places, but we are also an accredited arboretum with beautiful gardens, walking trails to the shoreline, and, of course, farm animals.

Our two historic Inn buildings delight overnight guests who value the beauty of tastefully selected antiques, comfortable public spaces, beautiful grounds, and charming guest rooms each furnished with Matouk fine linens and a private bath.

Five rooms, including a suite with a private entrance, are located in our Governor Bradford House, built in 1745 (yes, George Washington slept here!). Our North Pasture House, a post-and-beam cottage originally constructed in Maine, features four guest rooms. Please visit the detailed page of each home to determine which location best suits your visit to our property.

Many of our guests who visit the Farm to celebrate a wedding or other signature events choose to reserve one or more of our Inn buildings in its entirety. Rooms are also available individually.

Please be mindful that our property and structures are of historic nature and we strive to minimize technology.  We do have a Wi-Fi-enabled property, however, we do not have televisions in any of our guest rooms or common areas.

A self-serve continental breakfast is provided for all guests each morning and we are happy to work with you to provision our kitchen to accommodate any special dietary or preference-related requests you may have.

Please note that our Inn is a limited-service lodging. While someone is always available to assist guests in the event of an urgent issue, we do not have staff on-site 24/7.

Note: All posted room rates are based on two-person occupancy; state and local taxes totaling 13% are not included in room rates.

What our guests are saying …

We applaud you for your wonderful work and for the people you have hired to make and keep the farm a beautiful place. The Inn and the farm really do feel like a trust-in-action and we commend the Board for making it possible for us to visit this sacred land and to be guests at this site that is rich with history. Our visit at the North Pasture House from December 21-28 was peaceful and joyous, a love filled reunion in your cozy and comfortable quarters. Please keep up this fine work.

I wanted to take a minute to thank you so much for everything during our stay at the inn and during the wedding weekend. My family and friends who stayed at the inn just loved it. It was beautiful for all the pictures and enough room for the wedding party to get ready, etc… I would highly recommend staying there to anyone! And in fact, already have!
