Learn the basics of natural dyeing with Korie Ellis, a natural plant dyer based out of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Korie will teach participants the basics of plant dying using, repurposed onion skins. Participants will be guided and encouraged to explore their sense of play while learning how to repurpose materials that would often be discarded after a family meal. This workshop aims to spark interest in the mundane and open each person's eyes to the color potential that exists all around us. Participants will leave with a dyed tote bag. All materials are included.
