Rudolph Haffenreffer Room
King Bed, Second Floor
Our Haffenreffer Room is the largest room in the Inn and boasts an impressive four poster bed, a variety of antiques and windows on two sides, to the North and West. Its bathroom has a marble counter and ample storage with a tub/shower combination. The bathroom is separated from the bedroom area by a small foyer with an extra-large closet. All guest rooms in the Governor Bradford House have individual thermostats for heat and seasonal, window-mounted air conditioners.
The Haffenreffer Room is named after the last private owner of Mount Hope Farm. The Haffenreffer family came to the United States and built one of Boston’s first brewery complexes. The Haffenreffer family owned the property from 1917 until early 1999, when it was purchased by the Mount Hope Trust in Bristol, the nonprofit organization that owns the Farm today.
