Queen Bed, Second Floor

Painted in soft greens and furnished with antiques, including a pencil post bed, our Byfield Room is a large, sunny space overlooking the Farm’s gardens. Its ensuite bathroom has a tub/shower combo, and sink with large marble counter for toiletries. All guest rooms in the Governor Bradford House have individual thermostats for heat and seasonal, window-mounted air conditioners. 

The Byfield Room is named for the first owner of Mount Hope Farm, one of the original founders of Bristol. At that time, the Farm was in Bristol County, Massachusetts, as Bristol did not become part of Rhode Island until 1747.
