Nathan Miller Room

Queen Bed, First Floor

The ground-floor Miller Room features a queen-size antique cannonball bed and an adjoining dressing room. The large ensuite bath offers a spacious double sink washroom, with separated tub/shower and toilet area. This is a lovely area in which to do makeup for a special day should you be at the Farm to celebrate a family event.

In 1783, Nathan Miller purchased the Farm from the State of Rhode Island and Providence Plantations, only to sell it a short time later to William Bradford, Deputy Governor of Rhode Island. The state was later forced to sell the Farm to discharge the balance of pay that remained due for officers and soldiers of the Continental Battalions.
